PharmRevise terms of use

These terms apply to anyone who uses PharmRevise. By creating an account, signing in or using the PharmRevise 150 you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use PharmRevise. Our privacy notice explains how we handle your personal data.

1. Who we are

PharmRevise is the trading name of the individual who runs it; it is not yet a company. Contact: hello@pharmrevise.co.uk. "We" and "us" in these terms mean PharmRevise.

2. What PharmRevise is

PharmRevise is a free revision tool for people preparing for the GPhC registration assessment. There is nothing to buy. Anyone can try the PharmRevise 150 without an account. Anyone can create an account; the full question bank opens once we have reviewed it.

Not affiliated with the General Pharmaceutical Council. PharmRevise is an independent revision tool. It is not endorsed by, connected to, or a source of official information about the GPhC, its registration assessment, or any exam provider whose past papers are referenced. Always check the GPhC's own site for anything that decides your registration.

3. Who can use it

• Anyone can create an account. We decide whether to open the full bank to it, and we may say no without giving a reason.
• One account per person. Do not share your sign-in details, and do not let anyone else use your account.
• Tell us straight away at hello@ if you think someone else has used your account.

4. It is for revision, not for patient care

PharmRevise is for exam revision only. It is not clinical advice. Do not use it to make any decision about a real patient. In practice, always work from the current BNF, NICE guidance, the product's SmPC and professional guidance, and from the people supervising you.

5. How accurate the answers are

We work to make the questions and answer keys correct, but we do not promise that any answer, explanation or reference is correct, complete or up to date. What is true today:

• Each written question names the source its answer key is based on, and most quote the passage. Calculation questions show a worked solution instead.
• The questions are drafted with the help of AI tools. Most answer keys have also been checked by a second AI model, a different one from the model that drafted the question, which looked at whether the quoted passage supports the key. That check does not show the key is right, and some keys have not had it yet.
• Apart from a few corrected by hand, no answer key has been checked by a person, and none by a pharmacist.
• Guidance changes. A key that was right when it was written or last checked can become wrong.

If a question looks wrong, it may well be. Check it against the source, and tell us at hello@ so we can check it against its source and correct or remove it.

Using PharmRevise does not mean you will pass the registration assessment.

6. The content, and what you must not do with it

The questions, answers, explanations, calculation templates and the way they are put together are made available to you only to read inside PharmRevise for your own revision. These terms give you no other right to any of it. This applies to the PharmRevise 150 as well.

The passages quoted with the questions come from the sources named beside them, such as the BNF, NICE, the MHRA, NHS England, medicines' SmPCs and the Royal College of Pharmacy's Medicines, Ethics and Practice. Rights in those passages stay with their owners. Naming a source does not mean its publisher is connected with PharmRevise or endorses it. Anything else on PharmRevise that belongs to someone else also stays theirs. Contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.

You must not:

• copy, download, screenshot or record content to share it, or share it in any other way, including in group chats, study groups, forums or social media;
• republish, sell, or use content in any other revision product, course or service, including your own;
• scrape, bulk-download or use any automated tool, script or bot to access the site or its data;
• paste or upload content into any AI tool, chatbot or model;
• try to get around sign-in, access controls or download limits, or access anyone else's account or data;
• do anything that interferes with the site, or with other people's use of it.

Each download of the question bank is recorded against your account (see the privacy notice), so that copying can be traced.

7. If you think something here is yours

If you own rights in any material on PharmRevise and want it removed, email hello@pharmrevise.co.uk with what the material is and where it appears. We will acknowledge you within 5 working days and tell you what we will do.

8. Access can change or end

• PharmRevise is provided free and as it is. It may change, be unavailable, or stop altogether, sometimes without notice.
• We can remove questions at any time.
• We can suspend or end your access at any time, with or without a reason, and in particular if you break these terms. If we end your access because the service is closing, we will try to tell you first.
• When access ends, the app stops opening the question bank on your devices.
• You can stop using PharmRevise at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account (see the privacy notice).
• Sections 5, 6, 9 and 11 continue to apply after your access ends.

9. Our responsibility to you

PharmRevise is free and for revision only, so we are not responsible for:

• how you do in any exam or assessment;
• any decision you make, about a patient or anything else, based on its content;
• any loss of data or progress; or
• any indirect loss.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that the law does not allow us to limit or exclude, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

10. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We will email account holders before a significant change takes effect. If you keep using PharmRevise after that, the new terms apply.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
